The Kumo RDTA was created from a joint project between Aspire and the German evaporator forge Steampipes. This collaboration resulted in a self-wrapping vaporizer that can definitely keep up with similar high-end products.
The Kumo, made of stainless steel, does not have to fear comparison with European tanks in terms of workmanship. You can tell that Steampipes was responsible for the design. A similarity to the Cabeo are quite recognizable and perhaps even intentional. Some of the technical features were also taken over from the Cabeo.
Depending on how you assemble the Kumo, you get a changed appearance. So you can match it perfectly with your battery carrier. With a diameter of 24mm, it has a common size and fits on quite a few mods.
The conical 810 mouthpiece lets a lot of air through and nestles gently against the mouth. With the included 510 adapter, other Drip Tips can also be mounted. This gives you an additional way to customize the Kumo.
The post deck on top is easy to wind and has room for a coil. This may well be larger, because space for it is sufficiently available. Although the Kumo is a TopCoiler vaporizer, it was designed so that it can do without wicks. The system relies on the natural capillary effect and the negative pressure, which is created when drawing. Due to the sophisticated design, which was developed by Steampipes, always have enough afterflow.
As is usual with TopCoiler tanks, the air supply of the Kumo is also located above the coil. A big advantage: Leakage is almost no longer possible. The air is sucked through 4 holes, which are individually adjustable. With the supplied airflow ring, you can visually cover the air holes.
The RDTA is filled from the side. You can put the liquid bottle directly to the filler hole. Spilling was yesterday and ratz-fatz are 3.5ml of your best liquid in the tank.
