The rectangular box is made of aluminum alloy and polycarbonate. It is thereby powered by a 18650 battery (not included) and thus offers an output power of up to 60 watts....
A USB Type-C cable (included) can be used for charging.
Operation is via the round fire button and the familiar Up & Down buttons. The most important parameters are displayed on a small monochrome display. All information can be easily read on this, and the settings can be made via the control buttons.
A 5-click turns the device on and off, and a 3-click locks and unlocks the system.
Thanks to the latest SX505j chipset, the Vi Class has the "Pure" mode - a hybrid mode of Watt mode and TC mode, which detects impending dry hits and stops the firing process in time. In addition, the temperature is continuously monitored in the background, which protects the coil. In addition to Pure mode, of course, the classic power mode (watts/volts), TC/TCR mode (up to 300°C) for different types of wire and power curves are available. With three preheat levels (Soft, Neutral, Hard), the diverse setting options are worthily rounded off.
The SXmini Vi Class is compatible with VP Pod tanks, with fixed coils. Thus, it is suitable for DL steamers as well as for MTL steamers:
- VP15 Pod Tank with 1.0 Ohm SS316L Coil for MTL (10 - 15 Watt) - 2.5 ml filling volume
- VP20 Pod Tank with 0.8 Ohm Mesh Coil for MTL and RDL (15 - 20 Watt) - 3.0 ml filling volume
- VP40 Pod Tank with 0.4 Ohm Mesh Coil for RDL and DL (35 - 40 Watt) - 4.0 ml filling volume
The pod tanks can be easily filled via a side-fill.
Via the adjustable Airflow the airflow can be adjusted to your own needs. The airflow control is located on the bottom of the tank and can be adjusted the slider.
The Vi Class is also compatible with the dotAIO tanks, the dotAIO RBA and all dotAIO compatible tanks. For this you only need a separately available adapter.
