Bases to mix yourself

Mixing e-liquids yourself - For beginners

A big argument to switch from smoking to vaporizing is also the cost. You buy a device that you use for months, if not years. Then there are the coils. And then, of course, the liquids.
That saves you a lot. With average consumption about half of what you have previously consumed. But it still goes significantly Gunstiger

An example with empirical values, just so that the interested beginner can imagine: 10ml of finished liquid currently cost on average 5, - francs. If you add up all the accessories, including vials, etc., for one-time use and then calculate how much liquid you get from it, you get a price of less than 60 Rppen.
That should be convincing.

But experienced blenders know it has another unbeatable advantage. Because most manufacturers and retailers who offer liquids, also offer the flavors for it. Even more, they usually offer many more flavors than ready-made liquids. So you have with the self-mixing a much wider spectrum, a much higher bandwidth. In addition, you can experiment much more, because you can also compose flavors yourself.
A new universe opens up.

Beginners have inhibitions - wrongly

Unfortunately, however, many beginners have an inhibition to deal with it. Which is completely understandable.
There you see in YouTube videos mixing instructions, shot in tiled rooms that look like at the butcher in the capitalist liberated zone. There you read something about menthol crystals from the pharmacy and propylene glycol in 5L canisters. And everyone immediately thinks rocket science.
That's nonsense! And completely unnecessary for the beginning.

It's very simple, very fast, and doable for anyone who doesn't have ten thumbs. And can do the rule of three and percentages halfway.

The ingredients
You need a base. You can get it in the Vapestore Online Shop.
Base is available in different compositions. The basic ingredients are always PG, VG and possibly nicotine.
PG is the flavor carrier. The more PG, the more flavor. In many finished liquids are 70% PG and more. Because this saves the manufacturer on the expensive flavors.
PG is but also responsible for the fact that there is the hit in the throat. That is why some liquids are perceived as scratchy.
VG is responsible for giving a nice and dense vapor. And it is more viscous than PG. That's why it's better to use more VG in vaporizers with higher power.
That's why it's recommended to start with a 50/50 base.
At least German manufacturers don't differ much. Because the ingredients used usually have a purity of 99.5%. This is the golden number, because from then on it is considered "chemically pure" and is also approved for medical use.

Typical base with nicotine

The nicotine content is as with the finished liquids also usually divided into six steps. So 0mg, 3mg, 6mg, 12mg, 18mg and 24mg. Just take the strength that you have also used in the liquids.
Nicotine is not as dangerous as is always said. Choose rather a little too much than too little. Better once a nicotine flash than nothing and again to reach for the cigarette.

What you then need is, of course, the flavor. There are no limits to your imagination.
The flavors are all approved as food additives by reputable manufacturers. As a rule, they can even be used for baking. Freaks also like to experiment with flavors for ice cream parlors or yogurts, but there are also manufacturers who generally sell flavors without a specific use.
But you don't need all that. Just look around in an online store, or let the store of your choice advise you what he has so there. Because of course there are not only the individual flavors, but also special creations of the individual manufacturers. Anyone who has already found a favorite liquid, will certainly find the flavor for mixing yourself.
The dosage recommendation of the flavors are either directly on the bottles, or can be found online at retailers and manufacturers. Very roughly, it is always around 10%. With a 10ml bottle of aroma you get so already 100ml liquid together.

For the mixing itself you need something to measure and a container. Of course you can use an old jar and a measuring cup.
For the beginning we recommend vials with 50ml and a syringe with 5ml capacity.
That's all. Vape ON!
